New Market Product Pathway

The New Market Product Pathway offers NSW sellers subsidised access to Focus on India and Southeast Asia 2025 (FOISEA25). This initiative supports businesses newly export-ready or new to the India and Southeast Asian markets—specifically, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and India—enabling their first participation in a trade event tailored to these markets.

Program Details

By facilitating participation in FOISEA25, the New Market Product Pathway will enable newly export-ready or new to market visitor economy businesses to develop essential international buyer relationships. This program complements the NSW First Program, which helps businesses develop an inbound strategy, undertake seller training, and meet with ITOs and ground handlers.

Each successful participant will receive a subsidy of $1,320 AUD (including GST) with a maximum of 10 participants. This subsidy applies to the Focus on India and Southeast Asia Seller Primary Delegate Package, valued at $2,200 (including GST)

The subsidy applies exclusively to the primary delegate fee. All other costs—including the remaining application fee of $880 (including GST), flights, accommodation, and additional delegates—are the responsibility of the applicant.

Application Assessment

Up to 10 participants will be selected. If eligible applications exceed this number, selection will be based on:

  • Destination NSW reserves the right to determine final participation to ensure depth, diversity and regional representation.

  • If the number of companies meeting the eligibility criteria exceeds available places, DNSW has the right to apply a “first come, first served” process based on the date an application is submitted before the registration deadline

The application process for the Destination NSW Focus on India and Southeast Asia 2025 event is via an online questionnaire. When completing your application, ensure you check the New Market Product Pathway option to apply for the subsidy. Submission of an application does not guarantee a place at the event.

Applications close at 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday 3 October 2025.
